ABOUT ME

Studying power,
policy, and language.

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science at UCLA. I study how leaders build and maintain political power through the policies they adopt and the language they use.

My research brings together political economy and the study of political discourse. I combine computational text analysis and cross-national data to examine populist rhetoric, international political discourse, and the durability of climate policy.

My coauthored research on fossil fuel subsidy reform is published in Nature Climate Change.
